Renovating chimneys using the slip-casting method extends the service life of the flue. The inner surface of the chimney is cleaned by sweeping with a steel brush and coated with a ceramic chimney coating compound that fills the damaged surface as well as the brick joints from which the mortar has crumbled. Coating the chimneys improves draught and fire safety.
